Who should register on this Programme?
The Responsible Finance Leadership Programme is open to any individuals in the responsible finance or wider social finance space who wish to develop their capacity as leaders.
I’m not in a management position currently. Can I still take this course?
Yes. The Programme is for anyone who leads projects, meetings, activities, etc. in a work context. It is for formal and informal leaders alike, with a focus on the traits of leadership that are not restricted to formal managers. It is for individuals who aspire to be future leaders within the sector and are seeking to take the next steps to do so.
At what level is the content on this Programme? Beginner, intermediate or expert?
This course can be relevant and valuable for participants on all levels. The content and activities have been chosen and designed to be adaptable to people working at all ‘levels’ of leadership. Some participants can use the course as a catalyst to their leadership, whilst others may wish to use it as a refresher.
What is the time commitment?
There is one online module per month, which includes one virtual meeting and an individual assignment for self-reflection. There will also be 3 1-day residentials in December 2018, March 2019 and September 2019. This equates to approximately 3 days of commitment a month, or 40-45 days over the course of the Programme. As with most things, the more you immerse yourself in the Programme, the more you’ll get out of it.
I work full-time, will I have time to complete the modules on the Programme?
Yes. The course is designed to be flexible to your schedule. This is done through providing online content which you can complete on your own time and does not require travel. There will be three residential days throughout the programme and these will be scheduled ahead of time so you can plan around them.
How long will I have access to Programme materials?
After enrolling, you have unlimited access to Programme content for as long as you like – across any and all of your devices.
Do I need to complete all the modules?
To complete the diploma programme you will need to complete all modules. The train the trainer module is stand alone and can be completed by individuals who do not wish to participate in the entire programme.
Who will deliver the content?
The content is designed and delivered in partnership with Clore Social Leadership. The Clore team will deliver the online modules. The residential days and bespoke sector content will be delivered by subject experts recruited to the Programme by Responsible Finance and Clore.
What if my circumstances change or I decide the Programme is not the right fit for me and I need to drop out partway through?
We understand that circumstances may change and you may not be able to complete the full programme. If this is the case we are happy to have a discussion at the time about your options for withdrawing from the programme.
How will I know how I’m progressing through the Programme?
The Responsible Finance Leadership Programme does not use grading schemes. Participants will take a diagnostic at the start of the programme which will help them reflect and identify strengths and areas for development with regard to their leadership style. Participants will have the opportunity to have 360 feedback throughout the Programme to assess their development, as well as further diagnostics halfway through the year as well as at the end. This will help guide participants to be able to get what they want out of the Programme.
