After some 20 years in investment banking and financial communications, Patricia works with social enterprises to attract private capital and advises private capital providers on their responsible investment strategies.
With access to capital, connections and contracts elusive for many Black and minority ethnic communities, Patricia brings her proven experience to make a material difference to this reality. As co-founder of Extend Ventures, she has worked to diversify access to funding for Black and minoritised ethnic businesses and promotes similar access for Black-led non-profit community organisations after co-founding Black Funding Network as well as GiveBLACK.
In addition to her role as a Board Director of Responsible Finance, she is an NED with Social Enterprise UK and on the Investment Committee of Better Society Capital as well as a Trustee of Runnymede Trust, Ballet Black and Stratford East. She is also co-founder and a Director of the Windrush Caribbean Film Festival CIC.
She received an OBE in the 2025 New Years Honours List for services to philanthropy, the Arts and Impact Investment.
