Our members’ work has never been more needed by people, businesses and social enterprises, so we were delighted with the turn-out and content of our 2022 Member Day in Bristol.
More than 100 CDFI leaders and their staff and board members met to learn, share best practice, and find new ways to boost access to finance for people, businesses and social enterprises.
To meet demand, adapt to an evolving political and economic landscape, and develop our sector we must work together to harness the wealth of expertise and entrepreneurialism across our membership. Our Member Day was designed based on members’ needs and requests for everyone working in community development finance.
Theodora Hadjimichael, CEO of Responsible Finance, said: “The energy and commitment from the more than 100 colleagues from the CDFI sector was unbelievable. I left feeling inspired by the rich discussions on opportunities to help our customers in these uncertain times, leveraging the power of our 50+ strong network, and telling our impact story. After this day with our members and many of our partners I know that the CDFI sector will continue to get stronger and grow its impact.”
We are grateful to Unity Trust Bank, Shawbrook Bank, Triodos Bank, incuto, Singlify and SOAR for their support of the member day. Read more about them and the programme we covered on the day here.
