The UK finance system has a superpower: Community Development Finance Institutions (CDFIs). These locally-rooted social enterprises get finance to people, businesses and social enterprises who can’t get the finance they need from banks.
Here champions of CDFIs’ impact describe the unique and crucial role they play in their communities and for the UK, addressing financial exclusion and getting finance to people, SMEs and social enterprises.
The films mark the start of 10xRF: 10 days of events, conversation, and inspiration to celebrate CDFIs’ impact creating businesses, jobs and thriving communities. Join us and help scale up CDFIs’ work so more people, businesses and communities are able to prosper.
