DSL Business Finance
DSL provides business advice and loan finance to small businesses and social enterprises in Scotland. Loans of between £500 and £50,000 are available. It is happy to consider start-ups as well as existing companies. DSL will lend for most business purposes and to most sectors.
Enterprise Answers provides loans to start-up and existing businesses which are unable to access the finance they require from banks or other conventional sources. It operates across Cumbria, North Lancashire, Northumbria & County Durham and will consider applicants for loans of between £3,000 and £100,000.
Enterprise Loans East Midlands
ELEM provides loans from £500 to £100,000 to Small Businesses across the East Midlands that are unable to gain all or any finance from high street lenders, it may be able to assist with finance from its own or other lenders’ funds. ELEM is provided through First Enterprise Business Agency.
Enterprise Northern Ireland
ENI provides Start Up Loans of up to £10,000 across Northern Ireland. It offers loans to individuals starting a business or those trading for less than 12 months. Through the NI Small Business Loan Fund, ENI provides loans for start ups (£1,000 to £15,000) and existing enterprises (up to £50,000).
Fair Finance provides personal loans of up to £2,000 and debt advice in London. It also offers unsecured business loans from £2,000 to £20,000 to businesses across the UK trading for 24 months or longer. Loan assessments are based on affordability, not credit scoring algorithms. Finance For Enterprise
Finance For Enterprise provides business loans from £250 to £150,000 across South Yorkshire and the North Midlands. Established for over 25 years, it provides finance and advice to new start, early stage and established businesses unable to access all or any of their requirements from mainstream funds.
Five Lamps provides personal, business and home improvement loans in the North East and Yorkshire. Personal loans of £50 to £1,000 are available to financially excluded individuals. Business loans of £250 to £25,000 are available to new and existing enterprises. Five Lamps also provides employment support and a youth service.
Foundation East provides business social enterprise loans in the eastern part of the UK. Loans from £500 to £100,000 are available for start up and growing enterprises, on a secured and unsecured basis. Foundation East provides support with the application process and after a loan has been awarded.
Fredericks offers loans from £250 to £20,000 to people starting or running a business who are unable to secure funding from high street banks. Fredericks offers a very personal service to its clients. It operates in parts of the South West, South East, London, East Midlands and East of England.
